Chief Operating Officer
Laurie is Justice of the Peace (Qualified) with Tertiary Qualifications in Business, Safety, Human Resources, Project Management, Quality, Auditing and Training. Laurie has significant Contract and Project Management experience garnered from manufacturing firms through to mining, construction, earthmoving, transport, timber and engineering operations. Laurie has consulted to Government Departments, Defence and Shire Councils regarding Strategic, General Management, Safety, Human Resources and the mentoring of senior management personnel. Laurie’s wide-ranging experience allows him to openly communicate operational requirements with all tiers of the workplace and greatly assists in demystifying both practical and legal requirements of long term sustainable business management strategies.
Manager - Finance + Administration
Brad joined the Haynes group in 2013 as Financial Controller and brings with him over 15 years experience in various senior financial management and commercial management positions in the Mining, Contracting, Labour Hire and Engineering sectors. Brad is a Certified Practising Accountant and carries both a Bachelor of Accounting and a Bachelor of Information Systems and has strengths in the areas of developing and implementing controls, improving business operations and implementing and establishing business systems, financial leadership and commercial and contract administration.
Manager - Resources + Infastructure
Peter has over 35 years combined experience in Construction, Mining, Energy, Mining, CSG/LNG, global manufacturing and mineral processing industries. Peter has been involved in the management of major projects in Australia, PNG, New Caledonia and Laos and is a current Executive director on the Surat Basin.
Manager - Field Operations
A local born and bred in Mackay with the last fifteen years holding various senior management roles with Brambles, Boom Logistics and G&S Engineering before moving to the Haynes Group to take up the role of Manager Field Operations.
Labour Hire Manager
With a comprehensive HR Generalist background, Ray has spent the last 5 years supporting operational teams in the local mining and construction industries. The ability to build positive, honest relationships with our clients and field personnel has been a key to successful labour solution outcomes.
Mackay Workshop Manager
Ray completed his Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter Apprenticeship and commenced work with Caterpillar Dealer in Western Australia. Ray worked firstly as a field serviceman working on a multitude of earthmoving equipment prior to being proposed and progressing into the role of Technical Communicator Caterpillar. Ray then spent two years overseas working for Caterpillar Dealer Indonesia. Ray’s secondary education also includes Advanced Technical Training on Earthmoving Equipment Product, Front Line Management, Automotive Science and Advanced Failure Analysis.
Manager - Autoglass
Shane Bowman joined the Haynes Team in 2013 after successfully operating one of Mackay’s leading accommodation venues as General Manager for 10 years. Spending several years working overseas in Japan, he holds an advance diploma in Frontline management and speaks Japanese as a second language. Working closely with our customer’s requirements both on-site and workshop based is the number 1 priority.
